Mitten State Plumbing handled the commercial kitchen plumbing for The Baldwin, a New American restaurant on Van Dyke Avenue in Shelby Township and the third concept from the Baldwin Restaurant Group. Turning an existing restaurant space into a chef-driven kitchen meant reworking the layout to fit new cooking lines and equipment. Our scope included grease interceptor installation, floor drains, hand and prep sinks, three-compartment and mop sinks, dishwasher connections, gas lines to cooking equipment, a high-capacity water heater, and bar plumbing. Everything was built to meet health department requirements, so the kitchen was ready to pass inspection and handle full service from opening night.
